what do you use to do veneer work in points and butterflys? epoxy ,glue for veneering or what .Thanks RED

On wood-to-wood CLAMPED pieces I use Titebond III.

Agreed, and if you don't clamp it (or atleast set a flat weight on it) she'll roll up like a ciagrette.

I usually use West-System epoxy to glue the veneers themselves together because, as been already stated, the other glues will make the sheets curl. Another bonus to using epoxy is that it helps in sealing the veneers so that when sanding the cue before applying finish, you don't contaminate the veneers with a different colored dust. I use white glue to glue the 45 degree mitered veneer glue ups to each other to form a 90 deg angle. I then use epoxy again to glue the point into the veneers and the veneers into the cue.
