I use an HSS slitting saw with the pin attaced to a dividing head on the bench mill. But back 5 years ago, I made a jig to guide the cutting disk of a Dremel before I started using the aforementioned set-up. Cut deeper than the valleys (minor diameter) of the threads to get a nice outflow of air and glue when you insert the pin.Hannphie said:

I found it interestng but not confined to just inlay cutting. I have finished building a prototype and now working on building a cnc assisted shaft final taper machine and a painting machine. There are procedures in cuemaking that can benefit from a higher percentage of human intervention (handcrafting) and some that'll benefit from high precision and repeatability of robotics. I didn't go through the normal route of just buying a cnc machine but rather designed and built it myself to what I needed it for.hadjcues said:Sir Bandido, bit by the CNC bug already?

Thanks Tracy, it has been hectic that I had to get serious wit my time management. And unfortunately, time for the forums needed to be cut down. I also had some problems with #@*& that keeps bad-mouthing me in their sales pitches even though their construction systems were patterned after mine or misrepresent that their cues are then claim that they are ERs (counterfeiting).RSB-Refugee said:
