Glue removal
I just removed glue from my 7 footer, 3 pc table. Scrape off what you can, then follow up with 3M Adhesive Remover. It may take several applications but when it's clean, it's really clean. Not a job for in the house unless you have good cross ventilation and an understanding wife. Remove the old rags or shop cloths asap as they really tend to emit a lot odor. Acetone would probably work but it does evaporate too fast leaving a lot of sticky residue behind. You can find the 3M product at most Advance Auto Parts stores, 12 oz aerosol can will set you back about $13.00. One can should do a 7 or 8 foot table. I only did the tops and outside edges, not the underside or pocket cutouts.
