Go ALEX!!!!

Thank you brandon

Your updates covering many of the derby matches is much appreciated. (that camaro in your avatar looks kick ass!)

Earl!

Earl beat Alex.

Four people left - Alex, Earl, Shannon, and the winner of Scott/Shane

Wow. That's saying something right there, because Alex is one MEAN 1P player, and his 1P chops were sharpened in the recents bouts with Dippy.

Earl's doing something right, that's for sure! Eating healthy, exercising (I hear Earl's a runner these days!), and just in general taking care of himself.

I have a feeling we're going to be seeing more of this Earl fellow for many years to come!

Earl has one big one pocket tourneys before, he's a player.

With that said I hope Shannon/Alex draws Earl next. Also rooting for SVB as he's making his strongest one pocket showing ever I believe.

Earl was practicing yesterday for probably 8-10 hours (including matches in between). He was laughing and joking some with players like I hadn't seen in a while. He was shooting stroke shots with tons of English. He pounded a ball and spun it so much the spin took it 5 or 6 rails.

I definitely think if he keeps this level up, it would be safe to say Earl is back. Not quite yet, I think he needs to be this way for a little while before you can determine definitively.

He went very deep in the banks also. Earl is on a roll right now. If he can keep his emotions in check, the match with Shane in March should be extremely exciting.

With that said, I still want Alex to win. Would love to see a Shane vs Alex one pocket final. That would be interesting.

Shane beat Frost.

Semis are:

Daulton vs Strickland and Alex vs Shane

All have one loss so the winners will play in the finals.

They are putting Shannon and Earl on the tv table at 7. I really wish they would put Alex v SVB on DVD so I could keep it.

Shannon smoked Frost. Who gave him his second loss?

I know he has won a regional event in 1p but this is unreal. I would never guess his game/personality were suited for 1p at all.

I don't know if Alex can win the all-round..
..Sure he won the banks...and he's doing pretty good at 1-hole....
but he's still got to get through the 9-ball....
...WAIT A MINUTE!!!...9-BALL IS HIS BEST GAME!!!!

....uh.......gulp......:o:o:o

Some pretty good players in South Dakota...congrats SVB
