But like Buckster said in the other thread good year for Brits since 9 ball really is the 3rd choice game in the uk. It's definately growing in popularity though. Apart from Drago and Davis none of the top Snooker players have taken it seriously to date but most of the current UK 9 ballers do have a strong Snooker background.
I don't doubt American players would fair far better if the tournament was held on home turf but do you think the lack of a high quality US Pro tour has contributed to Americas poor results in recent times? Obviously SVB is top drawer and an exception to the rule but he keeps himself in prime form from challenging all comers for cash. Interesting though.
