My wife and I went to Orlando last year and had so much fun we want to go to London for 2025 Mosconi Cup. Anyone else planning on going? Would like to hear what you are planning... My daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandkids are planning to go too, so we are thinking about getting an Airbnb. Anyone that has been before have any advice? Where to stay (or where not to). The grandkids will be 1 and 3. My daughter's family would like to go for at least one day of the Cup. Crazy to take the grandbabies? Wonder if they have to pay for tickets?

I'm about 90% to attend. No idea where you should stay, as I'll likely stay with my cousin, who lives in London.

I wouldn't take any child under 12 to the venue if only because of the noise. More Euros = more noise.

I found a 3-bedroom place at the bottom of the hill that Alexandra Palace is on, close to the Wood Green tube station. That line goes straight to some major sights if you are going to tourist during the day. (I ended up not staying there, but it was a great deal compared to hotels downtown. I reserved through booking dot com)

The last time I went, I found a one bedroom apartment next to the British Museum and on the right tube line for less than a hotel room.

It's a good time of year for sightseeing as there are no crowds. Dress warmly.

Tickets will go on pre-sale for WNT subscribers "soon" with normal sales starting on May 8th. The subscription has to be started by the 2nd to get the early ticket access.

Thanks @Bob Jewett. I just signed up for WNT TV. I assume the will have a section set up for USA? I hope it is better than last year. I had a hard time getting tickets but they won't be using Ticketmaster this time.

There will be nominal "sides". I don't think they actually check where you're from when selling you tickets. Try to be online when the sale starts., and maybe have two people on computers. If the past few years are any indicator, they will be close to selling out after the "pre-sale".

Pre-sale is on now ... 24 hours from an hour and a half ago.

Edit: I got my tickets. I think I may be on the US side -- Block E. I got a VIP ticket for the first day and row G for the last three. I think that's the best row for viewing

Got my tickets too...I missed Bob's comment so I didn't get best row according to him. I got Block B row C every day...plenty of seats remaining. They don't appear to be selling as fast as they did last year. I wonder if the requirement to be signed up for WNTTV limited the pool? I Forwarded the tickets to my wife and she texted me that she is excited about Mosconi 2025...makes me feel better about spending$600 on tickets!

Oops. I chose my side according to previous years. It seems I will be seated in the middle of the drunk heathens. ;) Block E.

Somehow I didn't see the seat map above -- Euros on the bottom, I'll be careful to wear blue.

Haha...as soon as I saw that you were in Block E, I started doubting myself, so I did a search and found that graphic...

I'm staying in an apartment in central London where I've stayed before. It's close to the Piccadilly tube/undergound line which goes to both Alexandra Palace and Heathrow. It's also near lots of restaurants, and is a block from the British Museum and a Sainsbury's (grocery store). (It's near the Thistle London Holborn hotel.)

Great input! We haven't decided yet where we are staying. I think it will be 4 adults and 2 children (Only my wife and I are going to Mosconi). We were thinking about an Airbnb.

If AirBNB is used in America a bunch, is there a corresponding site for England? Normally at stayed in hotels while abroad so curious the running rates for apartments in such a big place like London.
