Tom Wirth is selling his 9' gold crown 1 pool table. This table is in fine condition. The slate has no cracks, the cushions are consistent and plays well, the ball return works fine and is quiet, and the 860 hrs cloth is fairly new.
One bench leg could use some modest cosmetic attention.
It’s up to you to knock it down and move it.
Any interest post here and I’ll send you Tom’s contacts
Located in DelRay Beach, Fl.
$1000

NOTE>> I have nothing to do with the sale, transaction or any questions. I’m posting this for Tom.

Nice. How did the set up go.
Thank you - table plays very well - a few very minor issues that I can and will correct myself - I would say that they were 8/10 mechanics - but getting the table to the third floor was challenge enough - it is level and has very good speed - getting a reasonable electrician to install the light was my bigger challenge- NE contractor rates are absurd.

Bothers the crap out of me that mechanics, craftsman, vendors cannot get it right. I call them 10%'rs Cannot get it right.. lousy finishers.
What I find is that the table mechanics that are just OK either were never taught to be excellent or they work for a retailer that does not know and does not demand excellence - so they accept available mechanics who at least show up for a job.

There ya go. You are 100% correct. I had a local remove a table from my house. He said the best customers are the casual social bangers. The place I got my table from had a lot of 4-5 stars...
REVIEWS: They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up when finished. Said they will come back if needed and so on. Most buyers do not know the difference and the installers know it. The schlock artist that did mine (with the ripple and lose pockets) said it will tighten up. 3 kinds of installers. Professionals, hucksters and hackers. We need a detective to locate the Pro's.
