and for home you dont want big graphics on your table or a ball return that is loud as then you cant play when someone is sleeping in the house.
The ball return on the Gold Crown VII is one of the quietest on the market.
Also, the majority of people that are buying 9' tournament tables are either tournament players or league players.... A large number of those players tend to like the logos, and will even spend extra money to have them on the table. It seems to be working for Diamond, which is the exact market that the Gold Crown VII is looking to upset.
when they change the model to a new rail system again how will you get rails if you need them for that table.
What are you talking about? How often do rails ever get changed, on any table, aside from maybe a barbox????? If the cushions ever need to be changed, the process is the same as any other table. The difference here, is that the rails are made of extruded aluminum, which makes for a much more stable and consistent rail.
for that cash it only makes sense for a pool room and hardly there as well.
Brunswick is offering discounted pricing for pool rooms, seeking to purchase 10 or more tables. The preliminary estimate was $8500, back in April.
you can get a nice refinished anniversary for that and have change as well.
or a super redone older gold crown for a third of it. that you can find parts easily if you need them
You could also get an Olhausen, Diamond, or Rasson.... So what???
The most important element of any install will be the experience/knowledge/persistence of the installer. What makes Diamond such a consistent table, is the design. Even an installer with limited knowledge/experience can install it, and have it look and play as it should.
Brunswick and Olhausen are both working on this aspect, with their new commercial tables. The Gold Crown VII is intended to be MUCH easier to install than prior versions of the Gold Crown.
If you purchase a restored Anniversary or older Gold Crown, you would need a very knowledgeable and experienced installer, to have everything installed correctly. That isn't always easy, depending on your location.
Your cynicism says far more about you, than it does the Gold Crown VII.
