Converting my snooker table back to pool I dropped the castings into the rails. Before setting up a GC V table I suggest checking the relief for the casting and if you like the flush look you will have to take off more of the undercut on the end of the rails. Took mine off with a chisel and belt sander. Entire procedure took about 1.5 hrs and makes the table top look and feel way better than stock.
