Cant link using my phone, there is a link in the Gold Member giveaway thread, right here on the front page.

Just the added PM space is worth the price of admission.

Not to mention, all the great give aways that a member is eligible for is an added bonus.

Probably a ton of other options that I haven't been able to figure out yet as well.

For me, it was more of a contribution to a great site that has provided me with some even more great entertainment for several years. I think that the extras in the future that haven't been announced yet are going to be an even better deal.

In Canada, the price of a Gold doesn't add up to many beers for me.

A no brainer even as much as I love cold beer.

Hey, Hog ... lol. I used to live in a border town (Detroit) and go across all the time to the Windsor Casinos, not to mention Jason's (if you know what I mean). Since I'm not crossing the border regularly as I used to I might be out of touch but I thought USD versus the Loonie was at parity now ... not like the days when the Windsor Casinos would advertise what a great bargain it was to piss your money away in Canada. ;)

I don't know 100% Buddy. The only Canadian/USD transactions that I do are from Pay Pal and the Canadian dollar is still below the USD.

Maybe thats just Pay Pal. I remember that many of the border towns that I am close to for shopping sprees, Minot ND for one, used to give out deals, Canadian at Par.

A lot of the Duty free at the border crossings used to do the same. Since I stopped driving truck, I haven't been across in some time so I don't know for sure.

Vegas for VNEA a couple of years ago was the last time and I didn't do any Duty Free at the time.

I do know that when I drove, I used to haul pot ash down to the farming communities and
soy or cattle feed on the way back. Other than bringing back a carton of Marlboros and a 24 pack at a Duty Free on the way back, you'd be amazed at how many cartons of smokes and 24 packs can get buried in a load of soy meal. Hahaha.

They had ladders and probes but at 3 am in the morning and 40 plus below, the Canuck Border Guards weren't prone to using them. Also another Hahaha.

It was just a big CYA Later as I hit 5th gear coming back home. However, I did have a couple of sweaty moments at the border. My Buddy and I had quite the stash for some time. My buddy was huge into bringing back RCA Sat Dishes
for some time. How he never got caught with a sleeper full of Sat Dishes, I'll never know. All good times. In fact, I still have a nice bottle of 180 proof Ever Clear in the basement.

Hey, do you know how nice an ounce or 2 of Ever Clear tastes on a bowl of vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Try it, you don't know what yer missing.
