Found a Golden West pool table for sell, "Union League" model.

Good shape except dead rails.

What's a good price point. High/Low So I know what to offer?

The website doesnt have prices listed.

Also it's an 8 Ft 1Pc Slate top. (Custom ordered) This good or bad?

Input please!?! :frown:

If it's a one piece 8ft slate, it's undersized which means the rails don't bolt through the slate because the slate is not wide enough to go up under the rails, SO...the rails are actually bolting through the wood frame work which goes around the outside edge of the slate supports.

ok.. is that good or bad?

I figured a 1 pc slate would be more consistent. Less set up hassle, but harder to move being the downside.

any idea on value?

The undersized one piece slate is a very cheap built table, I've had some issues with GW with some of the tables they've built, even to the point of going right to their factory in OR in order to have to correct their problems, only to face denial from them that I even knew what I was talking about, but they did fix their mistakes for my customer once they DID find out who I was, and that I DO know what I'm talking about when it comes to pool tables, and how they're designed. I'll bring forward a thread in the main forum about them, then you can decide what you can do from there.

Are you absolutely sure it's a 1pc slate?

Well I never lifted up her skirt or anything... but yeah I'm being told by the owners that due to the nature of it being a 1pc slate (that was custom ordered) they needed to have several guys on the thing to move it.
