Good Cloth, Ballsand Rails

Every time I recover my table and get new rails and new or clean, restored and polished balls, I'm amazed how I play... maybe a ball better, or so, depending on how bad they were.

The CB seems to do what I want with half the effort. Banking becomes much easier. Drawing the CB becomes so much easier and the balls spread much better on the break=more runouts.

I know a good player should be able to play on the condition of any table, balls, and rails, but at 75 years old, I prefer much less effort.

I feel sorry for players that don't have control of what they play on because they don't own their own table or get to play in a room that maintains the tables and balls. Johnnyt

Ballsand sounds like a horrible condition to suffer from.

This post is only in jest, not meant to be anything but amusing to all parties.

That's what you get after a romp on the beach isn't it?

Brand new laptop and the space bar moves when in wants to. No offence taken. Johnnyt

I actually have the exact problem you are talking about--my thumb hits the touchpad while typing. I don't really like the touchpads and use a wireless mouse, so I will generally disable the pad...though it is a pain to reactivate if I lose my mouse.

Glad you are enjoying playing, I agree that equipment is a huge factor in the joy I get.
