Good cues for aprox 300~ ?

Joss, Jacoby,Pechauer any of these 3 would do you just fine. You won't get fancy, just plain good hitting cues. I've had 2 Jacoby's and 1 Pechauer. Shot a few Joss's. You won't go wrong with any of them. I believe you might get a plain simple Josie for that as well. He sometimes has short spliced sneaky's for sale. Call Sherry and ask. That would be a hell of a sweet shooter. My deluxe sneaky is fantastic, I love it to pieces.

Here are some pictures of the first Nuecue's...It cost's 300usd plus shipping for two cues, one for you, the second will be given to a school that is teaching kids to play. If they have over 5 students attending classes they are on the list.

Made in the USA!!! A full pie laminate cue butt cap to tip. They come with a Kamui tip as the standard. These cues also have Dominator III Shafts on them which is a huge advancement in shaft building if you have not tried them you need to.

The only problem with that is you may not get the cue. I "bought" a cue from a well respected member here once. Three years and zero cues later, I've kind of written it off.

If it were me, and it was about three months ago, I would buy a plain jane Joss. They're American made, very solid hit, and very consistent. Probably the best bang for your buck; I love the way mine plays.

You can get wrapless for $220: http://www.pooldawg.com/product/joss-jossp-sneaky-pete-pool-cue

Or Irish Linen for $212: http://www.pooldawg.com/product/joss-jos01-maple-with-ebony-circles-pool-cue-stick

Take the extra $80 and take your girl out to dinner. ;)

Totally agree. I bought the Joss JOS02 butt and a Predator 314-2 shaft from PoolDawg for $303 shipped. I didn't need the Joss shaft and was able to upgrade to the Predator. They even added a free soft case. I couldn't be happier.
