good idea? another cue?

so I've been tossing around the idea of getting another cue...something cheap, like one of the two piece sneaky pete ones on eBay or something to leave in my car. simply so if I decide I want to actually take lunch at work some day and run over and hit some balls around I'm not left without a stick. This could be something cheap, like say, 50$ and under, that doesn't matter so much if gets broken, stolen, damaged, warped (from being in my car), etc.

My concern is that if I get to the point that I'm shooting with it more than my good sticks it might hurt my game when I try to switch back to my better shooting sticks.

Any comments?

switching cues will never hurt your game, you might play better with a certain cue, but you cant get worse/hurt your game permantly by changing equipment

play with a house cue and alleviate ALL hassles.

That's what i do. i keep a cheaper cue with a good tip and taper in my car that i take to the bar. i only use it at the bar and since i don't go to the bar too much that doesn't effect my game

It's all about adjusting and adapting.

By the way, when Effren's in the middle of a game and things go off, guess what he recommends you do?

Change CUES....

Why? Hmm... not sure, but it probably will force you to focus more on accuracy when stroking and so on, tend to keep you near center ball, and eliminate many variables.

Car Cue

I use to keep a Dufferin sneaky in the car, but due to the extreme Florida heat the shaft warped. I purchased this Titanium Halex cue from Wal-Mart
for 30 bucks, had a LePro tip installed and it is a great player for lunch time
or after work. I had had it in the car since 2003 and it is straight as an arrow.
