Not sure if Sarah has her laptop with her this weekend, but she is playing in the Music City Open Ladies Division. Brackets are online and she won her first match of the event over Charlotte Miller 7-1.

Good luck out there Sarah. We are all pulling for you. Would be nice to see someone take that tourney away from Helena and Monica who seem to have a stranglehold on the event.

Hey Mike and everyone,

I do have everything with me and will try to keep in touch while I am out here on the road for a little bit.

I did win my first match but then I lost my second match. I still have plenty of time to come back. Hopefully they will get enough players to play the scotch doubles tournament. I am playing with David Matlock. There are some strong teams signed up so far. It should be an interesting tournament.

How did you manage that Sarah? Playing with THE David Matlock. The renouned King of the bar tables. The two of you should make an unbeatable team.

Well Jake, I got lucky. Plus, I have known David since I picked up a cue a long long time ago. We won our first match against Larry Nevel and Rachel Abbink. I'm not sure when we play again.

Thanks UW. I tried but it all came to an end. Pam is a good player with a bright future. Thankfully that tournament is over so I don't have to deal with the 7ft tables anymore. On to Louisville for me. Take care.
