Good morning Azers,
I just wanted to share my experience with PFD cues and Mr. Paul Drexler.

First of all there are many Great Cue makers out there due to the special High Tech machines and enormous experience for those who still do for instance the points the old fashioned way.
The thing that separates all the makers is mostly the customer service. At Valley Forge I noticed a few new to me cue makers they make some great looking cues and they are players as well. The hit and balance are 2 things subjective to every player, although there cues that are likable to most of the Pros.
Now back to Pfd cues and Mr. Drexler:
I've had like 10 different PFD cues and personally I was very impressed by the look and quality work but the hit was not my type of thing. I love the old Franklin "click" sound. Pfd ebony titlist conversion was the closest thing to my taste.
On the other side I just picked up a cue that plays superb to my demands.
I admire Paul's patience to listen to the ppl what they want.
Thank you Paul for the excellent service and outstanding work. Vass NYC

My Pfd story...

I had Paul build me a cue and it was an experience.

He told me he wasnt able to get the quality of Koa he wanted. Well at least that was the story, so he and his wife went to Hawaii and he carried on 70 lbs. to bring back with him.

I have to admit my Pfd is the amazing KOA cue I have ever seen, and I actually played with it for about a year, and it played great.

I have kept the cue, which for like most here, is a statement of the quality and at least a little bit for the smile I get from remembering what a character Paul is.

He cracked me up.

Thanks Paul, I really love my cue.

Ken

Paul Drexler is the best cuemaker I've dealt with. He's awesome. And so is my pfd cue.
