Hey everyone.

I had a very invasive biopsy on Tuesday of last week. I'm all recovered now, and received the good news that they didn't find any cancer cells. So, looks like I have sarcoidosis, which is treatable. Hey...anything is better than cancer!!

So, I'm very blessed and I personally truly believe that all of your prayers indeed worked!!! I really appreciate all of the PMS, phone calls, and support during this rough period. I'm glad to be out of these woods...again.

So, as of April 10th, I was 1 year cancer free!! Proud to share that with you.

You better add something pool related before you get your head chopped off.

Glad to hear you're cancer free, man. I bet that was a load off your shoulders.

I've been on here too many years....so I'm posting here. People who know me, pretty much know getting on me for that means absolutely zero to me...LOL.

Just so you know, I wasn't calling you out on the NPR thing. I just got barbecued a few days ago for it so I'm still kind of running with it. hehe!!

Congrats again on the good news. If that is you in your avatar it looks like you have a family that would like to have you around a little longer.

Matt- Definatly good news! I've got a few friends that weren't so lucky, but were able to fight it and become cancer free in the end! Are you still Active Duty?

I am genuinely happy for you but you know better than to put this in the main forum. It is not pool related and your good news belongs in the NPR forum.

You may not care what I or the majority of the other members think about posting it here, but you should care about not blatantly disregarding a forum rule that the moderator has recently stressed that everyone needs to follow. I think Matt forgot to type that "since I got the results, my pool game has improved".

Is that enough talk about pool to be included in the Main Forum????? I can't believe that this has even been brought up! Matt has always been a good contributor to this forum, unlike some others, and this is not some BS story or joke that was placed in the Main Forum, this is a serious issue.

If the rules were put in place by the moderators, then they are the ones that have the right/authority to add a post to the threads that are in places they "don't belong". If the moderators don't post, then it's in the right place! Comn' give this guy a break, he's not new to the forum!

Great news Matt!! I have been free of cancer for a little less than a year myself. I like it much better this year. Stay healthy.

By the way, Poolplaya9 needs to get a life... What a sourpuss!!!

Yes, thank God. I was actually thinking about getting out but re-enlisted. Two weeks later I was diagnosed with cancer. Wow...talk about a good choice. The Air Force medical system (and especially being near Walter Reed which is pretty awesome) has definitely done right by me. I'm a lifer bro.

Hey - I've been posting here a long time, and the audience I want to address doesn't necessarily go to that forum so I put it here. Take it or leave it. I do appreciate and thank you for being happy for me though.

The mods know me, and know I never get into internet arguments (maybe I've had ONE in the five years I've posted here).....so I don't think me posting that I'm happy to be cancer free in the main forum so that I make sure my friends see it is a big concern for them. Maybe now though, since you've proven to be such a stickler they may promote you to deputy moderator.

I know that I for one will sleep better knowing you are here protecting the forum laws of AZ Billiards.

Much of the membership, propably the majority, agree with the no NPR rule and don't want it in the main forum. They rarely speak out because crybabies like you try to turn it around and whine about how they are the bad guy for actually wanting to read about pool when they come to a pool forum, and for wanting the forum rules respected.

I'm quite happy actually, it's just that I'm not afraid to take the heat from you crybabies that refuse to follow the no NPR rule, and who want to whine like little girls about those that do want the forum rules respected.

All you crybabies that want your NPR in the main forum need to start petitioning the powers that be to just do away with the NPR forum completely, and combine it with the main forum. Then you can have your NPR fix without ever having to leave the main forum. Until then stop being a crybaby about the rules. And if you don't want the two forums to be combined, then respect the seperation.

Thanks Zim. I think Mike and I have been on here about the same time (half a decade).

Oh - hey, I did win $250 this weekend after not playing for QUITE some time. My friend and I played partners against this one guy and he couldn't win a set (but thought he had the nuts). Good stuff....so, there is some POOL RELATION. Feel better? :)
