Can anyone recommend a good pool room in Columbus, OH? Why recommend it; action, atmosphere, etc.?? Thanks.

Mark and Vicki Johnson have a small but nice place. Their phone number is 614-447-2255. It's called Q-Stix and is at 866 Oakland Park Ave. Check it out and I think you'll find the Johnsons will make you welcome.
 
I have been to a couple of rooms there. There is a place called The Sportsmen (or a variation thereof) that was Corey Deuel's home room. There is a also a place called Cornfed Red's. That place was good for action with the owner for awhile. But that was some years ago. I am sure you could find something there. Both rooms have good equipment.

That's the one, I would have suggested. Corey was there, the one time I went. They have four Diamond 9'ers, a nice carom table (I think it was Gabriels, but I don't remember for sure), and several diamond bar boxes. The neighborhood seemed a bit rough, but inside was fine. I have also been to a decent place in Hilliard, I can't remember the name of it, though. ;)

scott if your in town tuesday there is a 9 ball tourny at 7:30 at sportsmens, usually some cheap action also afterwards.
