Good practice techniques for a beginner

Not sure if this belongs here but this looks like a fun drill. I'm going to try it out either when I get my table cleared off from paperwork or go to the pool room, which ever comes sooner.

That's more or less an extension of the Wagon Wheel, which I think is pretty good for beginners.

I would say that most of the paths in the video are much too hard for most beginners if they're looking to hit half their shots. It is a good way to learn stun and side spin, but not basic.

That is good talent if you can do that without failing to hit a ball all the way through to the end. I did notice that it wasn't a continuous video from start to finish, and I wonder how successful he was without missing?

That would be a good lesson for me, but I know it would take several attempts to get through it to the end. I don't put top spin on the ball as well as I do draw, but I can do okay. I would have to agree that this would probably take intermediate to advanced skill level to complete.

I doubt anyone can ace it in ten tries. (Restart after any miss.) I think a reasonable goal is an average of four shots per ball.
Yes, I definitely agree, maybe 5 takes for me, 😊. Just the same, no matter how many times it would take me per ball, it would make me and anybody else a better player to try.
