Just caught the tail end of a match between Efren and Earl at the NA IPT open (on Versus) ....Efren wins, and Earl says to him afterward, "Well, you sure were lucky with the rolls you got".....I liked the show.......gee, I hope IPT survives and thrives...........somehow.....

I noticed that too and thought that it was extremely unsportsmanlike for Earl to make that snide comment.

In watching Earl play, I agree with Sigel's comment that Earl plays too fast and wasn't taking the time to study the layout of the table. In addition, Earl kept missing shots and losing position. In the pre-match interview, Earl said he had to break well in order to play well. That's only partly true. You can break well, but you still need to study the table, get position for the next shot and execute.

It was also funny to see Efren take a bit of exception to Earl's suggestion of "luck". Efren's English isn't very strong, but he could tell he was being slighted. If the Magician could hold his own in English, I'll bet Earl would not have gotten away with his snide remark quite so easily.

Earl making light of Efren's effort pales in comparison to the disgraceful commentary provided by KT and LJJ during the final of the King of the Hill.

Here they had a guy who is, in the eyes of more than a few, the greatest pool player ever, but KT and LJJ took great pains to draw attention to any error mde by Efren and make excuses for any error made by Sigel. They showed a lack of appreciation and respect for one of the most electrifying players of this or any other generation.
