... sometimes. In this case, I was agreeing with and supporting a suggestion made by Mike Page.So you write instructional pool articles based on opinionsfrom my August '11 Billiards Digest article dealing with sighting:
As Mike Page points out in NV B.3, any sighting line that is not parallel to the desired aiming line of the shot (i.e., the line of the cue) is problematic and should probably be avoided.
See Mike's video and the illustrations and explanations in my article for more information.
I think the illustrations and explanations in the article are quite informative and based on facts. What specific claims in the article do you think are factually wrong? I would be happy to try to provide additional explanations or justifications, where possible or necessary.without any real factual information
That is correct. This series of articles dealt only with aiming, alignment, and sighting for center-ball hits.and you do diagrams with information that is only good on center ball hits
I cover aim compensation for squirt, swerve, and throw in many other articles and online resources. I obviously can't cover everything in every article. If you want to see everything covered in one place, shell out some cash for my book and VEPS.
You apparently didn't read the article very carefully. Pull it up and do a search for the word "center" and you will see that it is pointed out numerous times.(though I didn't see this fact pointed out in your article).

Dave
