Goodbye Sniper ... Onyx rules!

I went from Sniper to Onyx. I like them both but Onyx looks better and they're easier to install (so I'm told). The price difference is a pretty minor consideration given how long they last.

I second this, Onyx is a very good tip, in fact I am playing with one these weeks and I really love it, I have tried it ages ago when it first came up and I loved it also, I can't remember why exactly I switched back to moori medium after that first time, but then few weeks ago I put onyx back and I love it, the English is nice, sound is nice, I only put half tip off center , sometimes one tip off center is enough

not to mention i've tried almost every tip, I'm used to moori medium that why I liked it, but onyx is far superior, and I've tried kamui and didn't like it.

Onyx tips really are the truth

for a layered tip onyx is by far the best. only comparison I can put with the onyx is a firmly pressed elk master, hell even a well made milk dud...both shape well and the feel of the hit is very solid kind of in between the thud and the tink sound of other hard or med tips...in any case I play only with my special treated elks or onyx, they both play the same , only slight difference is that the elk holds chalk better..
