I had a chance spend all day with a good friend of mine yesterday. We don't get to do it very often because we live 4 1/2 hrs. apart. His name is Stan Haines and he lives in a small town in northern Indiana.
We met up at Chalkies Billiards in Indy and played pool and hung out for several hours. He also asked me to bring my camera along to take pictures of his cue collection. I usually take better pics, but the lighting inside Chalkies wasn't the best.
Stan is alot like me in that he only has a few cues in his personal collection. But when he buys one, it is usually something spectacular.
The followings cues fit the bill:
Ginacue (ivory, ebony and silver version of Ernie's Rasputin: just awsome), Manzino (the pictures don't do the silver work in this cue justice), Josswest (one of Stroud's standard models. Then a lapis, birdseye, ebony, ivory and silver showpiece), Capone (this is the most fancy Capone has ever made. Wow.) and Richard Black (another masterpiece from Mr. Black)
