Gorgeous Hand Made Cue Rests

Foam rubber

We are going to do some experimenting with the cushioning, I have a supply of .06" adhesive backed rubber coming, and Im going to mess around with some leather and Cyanoacrylate.. and we may experiment with other materials.

Prototype models of the cuedaddy with inlays will be on ebay. If you would like to take a look. "Cuedaddy"

Thank you so much guys

Screw the cushion idea, lol, Ive got a cue claw and love it. Guess what, no cushion. Never had a snapper head kick my cue either because I put my cue holder away from snapperheads.

I've seen some padded with table cloth. The places that sell and maintain tables here have tons of scrap that they would gladly impart on you, gratis.
It looks nice and easy to glue and replace if needed.
Great looking cue holders tho.
And I agree, purpleheart would look real purdy.

The problem with purple heart

The only problem (at the moment) that I have with purpleheart is finding a supplier that A. Sells it as lumber and not turning squares.. and B that I dont have to buy a semi truck full to get a decent price on it.

We were considering purchasing a whole lot of exotic lumber from one company when I found out that the shipping on it was going to be in the $200-$400 range I backed away, just for the fact that I don't have enough capital to spend on wood to make use of the expensive shipping.

Currently, I purchase my wood straight from johnny Menard (Menards) and I save big money.. Laugh.. Laugh

They do have a decent selection. Ive stuck with the above but they also have ash, walnut .. I think thats it

I was looking at Teak, cocobolo, snakewood(Wont work unless I spend some real money), rosewood, bacote from www.rockler.com and www.cuecomponents.com

The prices are decent again, but I dont know about the shippin
