WHAT WAS FINAL SCORE ?
THANK YOU
The final score was 24-12, Gorst over Compton.

That's a 2:1 ratio, saying that the match performance was 100 FargoRate points apart.
Fedor Gorst: 827
Chip Compton: 751

I think it may be a little complicated to apply FargoRate directly to one pocket because of the way the game is scored. Because each game is a race to 8 balls, it tends to have far more back and forth than nine ball or ten ball. This gives the better player a large number of chances to show his superiority which should improve his chances to win each game compared to nine ball. I heard that FargoRate is going to start including one pocket results and it will be interesting to see if there needs to be an adjustment due to this effect.

We've been treating this as an empirical issue, and it is appearing the results are matching pretty well the expectations from the rating differences. Here are the matches in the system between the 820's crowd (SVB, 830; Fedor Gorst, 827; Dennis Orcollo 824; and Carlo Biado, 819) against opponents under 780. There are 212 games total and the big dogs won 138 and lost 74. The expectation from the rating differences is almost exactly this.

after watching him beat tony earlier this year , and coming from behind in the first game of the set 7,-1 set the tone

its a little more enjoyable watching him (fedor) play 1pkt than rotation which i cannot do

I think Fedor and filler are the two best players in the world today without question. I’d love to see them in a long set playing any game. I would give a slight edge to filler

an all around match would be awesome, the clash of titans. fedor may be ahead of filler in one pocket now, but filler is favorite in straight pool and maybe 9-ball. fedor has imo a better 10-ball break, so it could come down to 8-ball.

I would oppose you on this one 🕵️‍♂️ (an edge goes to Fedor)

An all-around match in a more extended format than at Johnstons City Huslters Jamboree! 14.1, 8-Ball, 10-Ball, Full Rack Banks and One Pocket!!! And add Rotation (Filipino style). And note there is no place to 9-Ball in a clash between those two giants ;)
