I have had alot of cues but something there about this cue. I have sold it twice and gotten it back twice in trade. Each time the buyers had collections and test hit the cue only.
Am I crazy. The veneers look like the sunny Florida sky. So when I look up I missed the cue and wanted it back! And the straight grain maple forearm is a knockout too!

The cue is way prettier in person.

I love that blue in the veneers. I can see why you are in love with that cue, it sure is a looker!! I wouldnt mind having one like that with a curly forearm:cool:

Who made the cue BTW?

your'e both wrong...

I owned this cue and it was made by Mike Cochran hence the Cochran ringwork

You are all wrong

It is a Scruggs/Cochran cue. The Mak03 as lost during refinish and the TS logo is now scripted. Timi and Mike noticed the butt cap was off center when they recieved the cue for refinish and replaced the bottom end of the cue with the new weighting system to make it perfect again. The butt cap was off center probably due to one of the previous owners incorrectly trying to reweight the cue at some time in the past.
One other cue owned by John Marshal still bears the double logo in the but cap. That cue has the same veneer pattern and colors in the forearm. That cue is pictured on Az in a previous for sale thread by John Marshall.
I have it in a TS Whitten case now. And like the cue it is like new too!

That cue not only looks killer with those veneer colors & straight grain nose, it plays better than it looks (if thats possible), it just feels so balanced in your hands it is scary! Oh and that case realy compliments that cue!

I owned this cue for years and it hits really good. The harmonics come together in this cue. It resonates.

Thanks for the case Mr Phil

Glad you too have a Scruggs back you should have never let go!
Tommy you are so right. You told me the cue was beautiful before you shipped it to me. You said it was a Ferrari of a cue. And you are right on my N.Y. brother!
Every person that sees the cue says the same thing. It might be the prettiest cue they have ever seen! Understated slightly but the blue and purple sky inspired veneers are real beauty. It is a plus that is hits amazingly sweet. Too bad it will just sit under my 9x4 1/2 with my tiny collection!
Phil's jaw dropped when I let him hit a few balls with it. I didn't think he was going to let go of it for nothing!
