That's pretty strong right there. I don't care who you are. Any new bars or pool rooms opening up down there?

...Any new bars or pool rooms opening up down there?

The greater Tampa Bay Area is peppered with pool halls all over. Just within comfortable driving range of my house in northern Pinellas county (15 miles or less) there are at least four quality pool halls to choose from, all with 9' tables... And there a lot more just a bit further out. Just off the top of my head I can name 11 different pool halls.

Compared to what I read in this forum about other spots around the country, you could say we are downright saturated with pool halls in the Tampa area. Pool's definitely alive and well around here...

Oh... and I agree about that league payout! That's strong indeed.

Nice to hear that league is doing well in your area. There is absolutely 0 talk about it in New England from what I can see.

Which one u like the best?

Best Pool Halls in the TAMPA/Largo/ St. PETE Area

It really depends on what type of environment you like, We have one of the Largest Saturations of PoolHalls in Floirda in this area, maybe in the US, but I have not travelled a lot in the past 7 years due to health reasons and with the downturn of the Participation Levels of Pool Players dropping across the USA it is nice to see our area still alive with Pool Players, League, Tournaments, Large Amateur and Pro Tournaments, National Championships go on here and add in the Seminole turned Poison turned Florida Pool Tour turned Tony Robles Tour!!! LOL

List of some of the Pool Halls within 20 miles of each other in this Tampa/St.Pete/Largo Surroundings-In no particular Order

Family Billiards
Side Pockets
Corner Pockets
Stixs PoolHall
Hammerheads
Crooked Cue
Strokers
City Billiards
Fatsos
Bakers

IF YOU ARE OUT OF ONE OF THESE POOlHALLS or Venues AND ARE INTERESTED IN GETTING INFO ON NEXT SESSION OF GPPA and a CHANCE TO WIN THIS TYPE OF SESSION MONIES, Plus 1 in 9 Chance to GOTO LAS VEGAS and WIN A MIN. $5,000 upto $250,000----Contact the House Pro and ask state you are interested in fielding a team. I am making the rounds and getting teams in most of these PoolHalls Signed up for next session.

Once the Media Picks Up the Story about the Largest Session Money EVER paid out and the Social Media Flows in this area, More teams and Players will be coming out to give this new League Opportunity a Shot. For less than a $200 investment for each player you could be looking at up to $52,000 return on your investment, NEVER has there been a chance for this kind of Return for Amateur Pool Players.

All I can say is, 'GIVE IT A SHOT', don't look for reasons not to do it, or not like it, LOOK ON THE POSITIVE SIDE AND THE POTENTIAL RETURN.

If you would have played the First Session, your team would have made a minimum of $500 and upto $10,000.

Getting in early in this league gives you the best chances, like taking a chance on a new company. The early bird gets the Worm,

Bars and SportsBars that have leagues and or Weekly Tournaments
There are over 120 Bars, SportsBars and Restaurants in this Area that have these Pool Events Every Week Some every night of the Week.

We used to have the 4 largest without saying the Associations name league in the US, with over 2500 players in this Pinellas/Hillsborough Counties, This has gone down a bit but is still VERY STRONG

If you love Pool, Love the 80 Degree Winters,

THIS IS A PLACE TO VISITI OR LIVE

LONG LIVE POOL and ALL ITS PLAYERS

GPPA Intl...

According their website, they paid out 43K for the first session - wow I haven't played on a team that won money like this...

Nice to hear that place is still doing very well. I owned that pool hall about 8 years ago. I bought it when it was called Keg and Cue and had closed down. Nicest bunch of pool players in Tampa for sure. We completely renovated the place, and sold it a couple years later at a huge loss because we needed to move to orlando. Was fun for a little while though. I hope they continue to flourish over there.
