This conversion is only about 6 months old. The cue is in perfect condition. It has been sitting in the case. I was gonna keep it in my collection, but I need the funds for another cue I want. The purpleheart blank has aged beautifully. The joint, butt cap, and inlays are ivory. The dots are silver with brass. Since the blank is old it was difficult for Scott Gracio to find a piece of purpleheart to match for the butt of the cue, the butt section of the cue is slightly lighter than the forearm. Scott says that the wood of the butt section will darken over time to match the forearm. Again the conversion was only done about 6 months ago. I believe the the cue is still considered full splice. The wrap groove was cut into the original blank. The leather wrap is textured pigskin.
