Your suggestion that men's pro pool's business model is to let the Grady's of the pool world be its entrepreneurs puts the cart before the horse. It is men's pro pool's absence of a true business model that makes us more reliant on sole proprietors who wish to take a chance on pro pool than we ought to be.

mmmmmmm,,,,,,i think here is where we find mens pool in that familiar descending spiral, because i feel the absence of a good business model is partially the result of old thinking indivisuals who refuse to cooperate in their effort to, as i said, grab their piece of the pie.

i don't think it's a "cart before the horse" issue at all. and an example of that is charlie williams' effort. forget for a second about its good or bad points, and i certainly don't claim to know all the details,,,,but that organization was blasted before it was given a chance. and it seemed to be all about indivisuals holding on to what little they had. as if TRYING something else was just too much of an effort.

What is your point, B.J. the Bandit?

You know, it's really extremely difficult for me personally to read some of the posts in a few threads lately. To preserve the dignity of this forum, I elected to not respond and/or engage in a back-and-forth, which would only feed the fire.

I am disgusted, just like Blackjack, reading the nasty comments, like the one you just posted, B.J. the Bandit, about Keith McCready and a red book. There is nothing wrong with defending someone, but when you do so at the expense of another, it's pretty sad.

It's bad enough that I have to read the verbal assaults against me AND someone close to me written by one who gives a one-sided story and then not respond or post up the other side of the story or, in some cases, the TRUTH. I'm sickened by this continuing dialogue.
