Funny scooter story from Whitey Walker just posted on FB:

If you've ever heard about Scooter, seen him in action or after you read this article... Here's a good Scooter story for ya. Lutman and I were playing a partners set in Derby. Scooter pulls me aside and gives me $1000 to bet on us, but told me not to tell the guy we were playing because they are friends. We won, found out later Scooter borrowed the money from him to bet against him!! Classic! Almost impossible not to like Scooter though, he's one of a kind.

That's so messed up that's it's actually funny.

That's always been a problem of mine -- being around some of the pool players with let's just say -- less than impeccable character. So many things they do are so messed up. When you pair this questionable behavior with a carefree, almost charming personality -- how can you not like them? I get reeled in every time.

Will I ever loan them money? Ahhh no.

Too funny.
