I wonder why Dennis would put his logo on the cue if the cue was made by his assistance? Doesn't make sense unless Dennis actually work on the cue. Never the Less, it's definitely a steal since the cue has Dennis Logo. I'm sure the cue was constructed with Dennis wood and material.
Hi Duc,
Thank you for the compliment. The reason the "S" logo was put on the cue is for one main reason, if I didn't put an "S" on how would the current owner know where to go if anything was needed regarding this cue? I also decided early on that the "S" would mean that the cue was built, or converted in my shop. My signature means the cue is built 100% by me. If you don't see a signature then it started out as some type of pre-made blank, or built with my help. No signature, not 100% me.
Regarding this cue mentioned, Jim was a good friend of mine, and He helped me for a long time mostly doing prep work for me. After working with me approximately 4 years He wanted to make a cue in hopes to learn more, and make a little extra money I said OK, and in the end we worked together over the next few years and made I believe 5 or 6 cues. I showed Him what to do, and I watched. What He couldn't do I did for Him.
For the record those cues Jim, and I made are the only cues plus one in progress now that was not made or put together 100% by me. The cue in progress now is also signed by the person whom I'm helping to build His own cue, not signed by me.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
Sincerely, Dennis
