It's a break and run pot. I guess the players pay into the pot and they have a raffle to see who gets to try. They divide the total pot by 10. So there must be $20k in the pot. That's a pretty big one. Sometimes it's $250 a ball or $628 a ball or $450 a ball or $1100 a ball, etc

Not to defend the commentators, but it is deceiving to call shot from the booth. There were a couple shots that you couldn't tell it they would go or not. But I agree, I love when players think outside of the box and come up with different patterns. I find it fun trying to predict what a player will do differently from what I would do and then ask myself if it is a better option or not. Many ways to skin a chicken, but usually one way is the most efficient.

I think it is a great way to learn how to play better patterns if you are not at a pro level, most of the time they make it look easy, definitely not this time.
