I kept on trying to take a nice(r) picture with outside lighting... I made this in our living room with great lighting coming in through the garden door - directly onto the cue, without windows, or anything.

outside lighting cannot be controlled, and you are stuck with unnecessary reflections.

indoor lighting,

set your camera's custom WB,

position the lights/camera to avoid reflections,

minimum 4mp camera is all you need
