Got a new shorty cue delivered today. (Btw balance right shortys play great!)
And this is how they shipped it. That huge box with nothing in it to pad it 😂 just threw it in the box , taped it and sent it. If this was an expensive cue I wouldn’t be happy but just a cheap shorty cue made me chuckle.

My buddy bought a turntable. The shipper put the table loose in a box. You know how that ended.
Myself... I had a mail order business... Plaster models were shipped loose in a box...when I called the shipper the reply was...they weren't broken when they were shipped. I'm speechless.

So post the name of the business that shipped it like that.

It was Amazon. Not sure who it came from

For the past 3 years Amazon doesn't care and their driver turnover is insane! I order the same leather cleaner a few times a year and this year it was sent in a thin cardboard thick paper bag type mailer with no padding/protection what so ever and it was leaking out liquid when I got it. Ironically I ordered it from the manufacturer and it was shipped NEARLY identically but it wasn't leaking!! The best part is I started watching Prime live tv reruns and the company I've been loyal to for 8+ years sends me the same STUPID commercial up to FIFTY times a week, I paid extra to have ads removed but that's only for Prime shows/movies!!! I used to order it on Ebay when it was the only option and ZERO ISSUES always shipped in a BOX with bubble wrap!!

I wouldn't recommend Prime or Ebay for electronics especially or anything remotely fragile!! Prime was excellent just a few years ago but now it's just WEIRD and they are just riding the wave they created during/after Covid and I don't see any changes because people that buy stuff online are the LAZIEST mofos on EARTH!!!

I ordered a Crical cf cue off amazon and it showed up perfect. It was sent direct from Konllen/Crical and for a lo-buck Chines cue it was packaged quite well. I've never had any issues with Amazon orders.

Try ordering a 6 pack of liquid handsoap..... I wish they included a bubble blowing wand😂.. The cardboard box they came in was blowing bubbles.

Why would you being a 'loyal customer' have anything to do with their policy on ads? They make it pretty clear that even with the ad removal fee you'll still get ads on certain content. I agree it sux but they don't hide the fact that you will see some ads.

I'm an Ebay reseller and I DESPISE Ebay returns but Ebay's return process is 100 times easier than Amazon's but that's by design to keep you from actually returning DEFECTIVE items! I totally understand that X amount of items will need to be returned but improper packaging just shouldn't be an issue 98% of the time!!! The dirty secret of returns is only a small % of people actually ever do them so they are simply gambling that you won't return an item but the % they should be concerned about is how many people will quit Prime!!!

I buy Nashville Hot spice and used to get it at Walmart for $4, then Walmart stopped selling it so I was paying $5 on Prime and this year it went up to $10 which is nearly $40 a lb, Prime is just BIZARRE anymore!!! Used to Prime customer ratings were the only reliable ones on the internet and I've been seeing a lot of them this year that are completely fraudulent!

I had a dealer ship me a Barry Szamboti like that, in a sleeve and no other padding. Cue was not damaged, but that was ridiculous! I also know a guitar maker who has horrible shipping packaging.

I still see ALL the ads. Instagram knows nearly instantaneously what I buy with my debit card at an in person brick and mortar store but Amazon is TOO RETARDED to realize I bought the EXACT same item every 4 - 6 months for YEARS without needing any ads but up to 10 commercials PER DAY will remind me to buy it again because obviously I have dementia or FUCKING DOWN SYNDROME or likely BOTH!!!

Even better I was also regularly getting another ad on Prime about a medication side effect called "TD" which I have and it's a minor tick that makes me clumsy with dropping bottle caps or spilling drinks. Wouldn't you know it those ads started after I spilled half of a coke on my desk which my webcam could see. I had a bandaid on my finger for the first time this year and wouldn't you know it I started getting bandaid ads on either Prime or Instagram!!

Did they change something. The few times I’ve returned something I just had to go into fed ex. They scanned a barcode and took the item. No problems. I normally have no issue with Amazon until this item. And it isn’t damaged so I’m cool with it

I love Amazon because it keeps me out of Walmart.
Living in Denver most items are delivered the next day or two days out, once in awhile if it comes direct from the producer it can be a week or so but they will state that.
A few items have had iffy packaging but arrived intact and returns are easy ,get a return authorization and take it to Kohls.

I'm not an Amazon expert I don't sell on there, they could be riding the Covid wave (pump and dump) when people were forced to buy online or it could be a combo of different leadership since Bezos left. On Ebay if you want to return an item you literally just need a printer and some tape to print out a return label/repackage the item and have your carrier pick it up, if the seller makes a mistake it shouldn't be on the buyer to jump through hoops just to return an item "hassle free returns".

Any electronics I've bought in the past few years half were DOA, not that I buy a lot of electronics but it stands out. NEVER EVER buy electronics off of Ebay half or MORE will be DOA that's just the nature of Ebay sellers! I've bought 2 phones off of Ebay the $12 non flip phone I bought was the most durable phone I've owned and it had the best sound for hearing phone calls!! The Blackberry I bought was a NIGHTMARE, I'd never buy another phone off the internet, period! I've had great luck at Best Buy or the Boost store thus far Samsung phones are terrible for phone calls but everything else is functional.
