Ive been a fan of this shot for a long time

My success rate is max 20 percent on it
I practiced it alot

Seems the toughest part is the amount of hit on the first ball
very clean balls help too
I feel like its such a small target that thats whats giving me a hard time on it amd possibly the stroke itself. Bill does it open bridge !

Great that you posted this shot up!

It is a VERY difficult shot to make. What makes it tough, is the fact that the ALL 3 balls are within a 0.5 square diamond! Also, proximity of the front edge of the 2nd to the back edge of the 3rd (red) ball! NOT a lot of room to get by with the follow effect on the CB because of some bounce for MOST players! If you notice, I don't play with much force, and the action on the CB is flawless, clean, smooth! The, after all that, the 'Double the rail' to score has to be accurate!

BTW, that was the first take! NO need for another.

Eric LaSalle is just one of the GREAT guys in Savannah, GA. that are real 3C enthusiasts! Like me, they really don't have a room with a 3C table NOW! The 2 they had, I supplied for them at South Side Billiard Club which is now closed!

Rich, here's another GREAT shot I've been playing for over 50 years, shown to me again by my mentor, Ernie Presto, which was passed on to him by Johnny Layton in the late 30's.

BTW, I've shot this shot MANY times over the years in tournament play as well as gambling! The usual comment by my opponents is, "He missed the shot so bad, He got the kiss and made it!" Little did they know! ;)
