Green squares....???

What are these little green squares under our names? What do they mean? Who dreams up the cute sayings found when the cursor is left on the square? Why do some names have more squares than others ?

I knew I'd gotten a good rep and I'd given a couple good reps but that was only in the past week and then I found out about it by accident when a freind mentioned it.

I didn't know anything about the green squares until the post after yours. Had I known I would not have asked. The post below yours is helpful in that he directed me to a thread where the green squares are discussed. Your post sounds more like your intention with your answer to my honest questions was to ridicule me for not knowing rather than to help me find the answer to my question.

Anyway... thanks guys for your help. Now I know.

hey there Jim - I have to admit that I too had no idea about rep comments/green squares until late last year and it was because Mr. Wilson and I had a moment.:p worse yet, I had no idea that you could scroll over them and they said something.......ahhhhhhh technology:) thanks for starting this post:D
