Last night at about 5pm I tried calling to make the reservations for the Derby. I spoke with a supervisor when the reservation desk said they were all booked Jan 22-30th. I gave the event promotional code and he told me that even if I was willing to pay $1000 per night that no rooms were available.

So, what's the deal???? Is there a secret line I need to call or some pass word I need to know? It's just getting frustrating for us who are trying to reserve our room nice and early.

Thanks for all your effort in putting this tournament together and please don't interpret this as being unappreciative of your efforts, energy, and enthusiam.
 
I'm thinkin that people have been reserving rooms like crazy this week. A thread was put up about two weeks ago that thread had the code to give so I got my room then, on 9/16. . I suppose they've sold out at the Horshoe and you'll have to go down the road a ways.

I just checked online and they still have rooms available with the DCC rate (140/weekend, 120/weekday), so it doesn't look like they've booked all the rooms. Perhaps just the rooms with the special $99/night rate are gone.
 
Called today to try again and got the $99/8 day package deal...had to ask for a supervisor. I guess the key is just to keep trying.
 
Rooms

I talked to Greg last night in L-VILLE at a bank tourny .He said he has nothing to do with the rooms this year .Direct questions to Chris on here is the best option .
