grizzly machinist levels

Just a heads up for everyone out there looking at getting a machinist level. I would be weary of getting the grizzly one. I purchased one for doing my home table. Got it here and spent HOURS trying to calibrate it. The calibration system they have is a joke. I thought I had it dialed in and started leveling my frame and slates and was fighting it all over the place, rechecked my level and it was off because one of the nuts that i couldn't see because of a cover was not tight, so I spent hours re-calibrating it. It seems to be ok now, but i'm not done leveling the table. I'll be getting on the train in a few hours to go back to work for a week so I won't be able to finish my table until i'm home again. grrrrrrr............

I paid about 60 bucks for it. Since i'm not a table mechanic by trade and really only do mine and a friends table I didn't warrent spending the money on a starret.

I have a 7' brunswick

yea I did. I built my own taig based one but sold it to upgrade to a metal lathe. i almost bought one, but now thinking I might wait because i'll be buying a bigger house next year and really don't want to move it!
