The updated rankings for the Seminole Pro Tour are officially out and posted on www.seminolesportsmanagement.com Click on the Seminole Pro Tour graphic in the middle of the page, and then click on Rankings from the above toolbar. The top 2 players at the end of the season (before the Steve Mizerak Championships) will receive cash prizes!
The results page is also updated with the first 3 tournaments of the season, including payouts.
Congratulations. He's a great guy and loves pool. How cool he's number one today on the ranking of the tour.
Here's something I wrote about him several years ago when I met him at the lobby of the Holiday Inn at the U.S. Open:
At the 2005 U.S. Open this past September, I saw MANY players having their friends send in their application to the IPT on the Holiday Inn computer located in the lobby. I would imagine down South, your $30-entry-fee qualifier will be attractive to many a player.
David Grossman from Florida had a friend send in his application on the computer for him at the 2005 U.S. Open, but he didn't get selected in the initial 150. We had a brief chat, and he really wants to take a shot at playing in the IPT. He was very enthusiastic about the tour and spent quite a long time with his friend on the computer detailing his tournament trail wins and answering the questions to the best of his ability. David is just one of MANY talented players out there on the tournament trail who are very deserving, IMHO.
