We had 2 players that got to barking at each other on Facebook. (Wichita Poolplayers is a closed group on Facebook to discuss Pool things - 137 members). It went back and forth, so finally the owner of the Pool room I go to stepped in, and scheduled a match between the two players on a 9 footer for next Saturday.
They are to play 5 sets of 9 ball, race to 7, for $100 per, and the owner is throwing in an extra $100 for the winner, and not charging for table time. How's that for accomodating by the owner? The facebook posting currently has 104 comments.
1 other 'grudge' match was scheduled for the 19th of November with the same requirements for 2 other players.
This 'grudge' match stuff is generating a lot of excitement.
Anything like this go on anywhere else, with a room owner intervining?
