GTF cue case's at Seyberts

the cases that i've looked at are aklmost 1/2 price, i think it's a closeout.
I bought a brown 1x2 last week and received it Monday, it is a very sturdy case, a little heavier then I wanted but well made. If you are looking for a 1x2 without pockets, this is a great case for the money, I think they are about $95 this week on closeout.
Considering how good Seybert's is to deal with, returns, exchanges, custom work, I think it's always a good deal. Yeah, I scan the want ad every day and find stuff I want to buy. Then I remember all the horror stories of the scams. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
Aside from the cheap POS blue aluminum cue I'm looking for here I would only buy used if I got to see it in person. A case I'd have to think about.

Do you really want to spend $300 on a case that only holds ONE cue ???
No where near that at Seyberts...and I am talking about the leather Prestige cases, not the vinyl Kopy Kats.

These are selling cheaper than I bought mine for used. They are great cases. But, due to the tight tolerances I HIGHLY recommend wiping the chalk off the tip and shaft before putting them in the case.
I love that I can carry it in one hand and the protection is top notch. There was a self defense situation that came up once. Sparing the details, my cue was just fine

Ok, you can get a cheaper vinyl case for $150, but it still only holds one cue......lots of folks by a small case and usually regret it later..... get at least a 2x3
You should be storing the shafts tips up in GTF cases. It's much better for a couple reasons.
I know, I've seen the video. When I take off the lid I like to see the joint protectors
. I know it's not the best way, but wiping the chalk off the tip and shaft is a sacrifice I'm willing to make to appease my vanity.

Well that's fine but it's not the case's fault
This case is made to be efficient and that requires that the parts be placed in opposite positions - because the bottom of the case has a little more room due to the lack of the inner tube it simply fits a little better if the tips are up.

I wouldn't blame the case for my personal preference, that'd be silly
. I've considered trading it for, or selling to buy a rugged 1x2. I want to be able to carry my extension and bridge head when I go out to play 14.1

I understand. Right now I am only playing one pocket so I made a little 1*2 for myself with two pockets for all my stuff.
