Hello,
I've been playing pool for about 4-5 years now so I decided to buy new cue. And because it is going to be my first "better" cue, I wanted some good playing, but not flashy cue.
At first, I wanted to buy Predator SP cue. But then I found out, that they make them in China and I don't want to support company like that. And because I'm from Europe, I also decided not to buy American cue, because of taxes, customs and shipping problems.
So I nearly bought Longoni cue, but than I found contact to nice CEM cuemaker from Germany. After few e-mails I made several 3D models of cues I like and discussed it with CEM. At first I wanted olive wood cue, but he told me, that he doesn't like to work with olive wood (though I've seen few very nice olive wood cues from him), so I finaly ordered Birdseye maple cue with ringwork I like.
So in the end I ordered cue like this:
I ordered it something like 6 months ago and according to CEM, I should receive my cue during February. I'm really looking forward to see final result
And because I also wanted some simple but nice case for the cue, I decided to buy GTF case for it. It was quite complicated and time consuming to get GTF case from the US, but finally I found Recollection Cues shop and Tom was kind enough to agree to send it to me to Europe. And because shipping from The US, bank fees and customs taxes are quite expensive, I decided to buy two cases Black lizard and Rust lizard design. Both with lock and I think I will never really use the lock, but It makes nice detail in the look of the case. I'm really happy with my cases and if I buy more cues in the future, I'll definitely buy more GTF cases.
