You sure it's a Kers? Does it have his logo...Here is a pic of the big deep hole pin of my 87 SW... There are a lot of cues out there that look like they may be a Kersenbrock but they're actually SW's... If it is a Kers congrats on a very nice pick up...

My 2 guesses are taken, so I'll sit this one out.

I think it's a badass cue, though, you lucky dog:)

Great cue my friend, as usual.

Congrats!

Doesn't anybody read the whole thread anymore? Lol.. He gave the answer already.. He said Kers.... I posted a pic of an exact pin from an 87' SW and wanted to know how he knew it was a Kersenbrock because MANY cues you may think are Kers are actually SW. Laurie at SW will know.. Is there any identifying marks, logos or a loa?

Let's see more detailed pics too!

The big hole at the end of the pin does not mean Kersenbrock as many people seem to think. Al Lawrence explained in a TAR video interview (that was pulled after a couple of days) that in the early days pins were made by two methods: some were die- cut and some were machined on a lathe. The machined pins had the large hole so that one end could be held by a live center. South West used both types of pins and eventually went exclusively to die-cut pins. I'm not sure if Kersenbrock used both types of pins.

Pin means nothing

Show the front and middle and back of your Cue's shaft and butt. Also weights and ferule.
Your not showing nearlr enough and also looks fat.
Nick :)

Wide hole in butt pin looks exactly like my old kers with very similar ring work as my late 80's kersenbrock .great cue! Thanks for the pics!
