Terrible start for the Philippines. Gabica and Pagulayan have been eliminated and Marlon Manalo is about to follow because he is now trailing 2 to 7 against Ko.

Joven Bustamante is the only one proceeding to the quarterfinals. De Luna has to win his 2nd game to be assured of going to the quarterfinals.

oh my god the commentators are friggin' unbearable. one of them has been calling the wrong shots, relaying misinformation about Taiwanese players and focusing on Yang's struggling on the table because of the shot clock----Yang is not a slow player; he's clearly in a slump, at least for this tournament. That one guy is being really misleading and misinformative.
