Guiseppe = poor quality case.

I have a Guisseppe........2x4. Although it is not as durable as leather.....it is a good case. I always take good care of my equipment, and so I do with the case....For someone that doesn't beat the shit out of their stuff.....these cases are fine.

I like this. Can I steal it and use it for my cases with a little change?

Here is my version.

"JB Cases - For someone that beats the shit out of their stuff.....these cases are fine."

During the years that I worked for Billiards and Sports I sold dozens of Guiseppe cases. And with all those cases sold I never saw any serious issues of quality. For what we sold the cases for they were a good value for customers wanting good quality protection but could not afford to move into the higher quality leather cases. We never had to return any cases because of problems. But quite frankly even the most expensive product in the world can be turned into crap if it is seriously abused by someone who has no clue on how to take care of something that they have and use.

I've had mine something like 17 years and it's still like new. It's no JB case, but it does the trick.

I've had the same Guiseppe 2x2 case for 12-14 years now. It has kept my Heubler and sneaky pete safe throughout the duration and still going strong today. Nothing is broken or torn on the case, it is however showing some wear on the exterior from years of abuse and storage. I can't find them locally and would love to see if the quality is still on par today as it was when I bought mine so long ago. If in fact I discover that it is, I would not hesitate purchasing another one again if "best bang for the buck" is a concern.

I obtained this case in a used cue package i purchased on AZ.

A few things I do not like about the Giuseppe case:

1. The cues rattle around inside the case. Probably won't hurt anything but it bugs me.

2. The long zipper compartment is attached to two straps that wrap around the case but are not sewn or even glued to the main part of the case. And it is attached to the straps only with some thing stitching in the middle.

The combination of these two design flaws equals a compartment that slides back and forth and flops around continually.

3. The top of the case came completely off. I was carrying the case by the top one day as I was walking across the room and all of the sudden I had the top part in my hand and the remainder fell on the floor.

The top part is not stitched to the case either. I can see the remnants of some glue that apparently held it on.

Last Giuseppe case I will ever own.

Ahhh somebody on here finally said what I had been thinking for awhile. I have never owned one but I have seen several and I always walked away thinking I wouldn't want one for the exact reasons that you stated.

I never understood the attraction to these cases. Honestly, it never seemed like it was worth the money to me. You can get a better case for $35 on the used (or even new) market any day of the week.
