Gus was a machinist for RCA.
He worked with very close tolerances and perfection
It carried over to cue making.

Since you didn't answer, I'll make a note that a crack in the ebony buttsleeve is a dramatic hit to the value and you should have taken that offer if it is in need of repair.

For your continued "market research", broken cues don't get top dollar.

I am looking and see a damaged vintage cue

The thing that has sold me over the years is just how fantastic this Gus feels in the hands when you hit some balls with it. I have had the pleasure to shoot with several other Gus Szambotis over the years and they all have that "feel"

Yes, and he continues to ignore it. Oh well, if he ever sells without disclosing that fact I hope he is railroaded for fraud.

I have posted the pictures I was able to find on my computer. I will go and get the cue from the bank and take some more from different angles, etc this week hopefully

You will never sell this cue.

I was certainly curious that maybe with all the stimulus checks and the trillions of dollars added to the economy that people might once again be buying these higher-end Gus Szamboti cues. Thanks again to all of you that have direct messaged me with helpful comments
