Gus Szamboti Authentication

Can anyone on earth authenticate Gus Szamboti cues since apparently Barry doesn’t authenticate them anymore? Have one I would like to have checked.

If Barry isn't doing it anymore, put a lot of very good pictures of it here. That would be a start, though not conclusive.

I'm no expert but i've never seen a Szam with that joint pin. Very cool cue btw.

I went and looked at some pics of Art's cues and i'd say this is a Catando. Looks a lot like his work. He normally put his logo on them. this may have been before he started that or the buttcap was fixed.

I think the work looks more like a Szamboti. That’s what has me confused

If AC were to copy a Gus, I think he’d mark it to prevent any confusion.

Cantando learned from Szamboti that may be why. Maybe someone asked him to make a copy of a Szamboti as this cue resembles a Szamboti that was made

take a magnifying glass and slowly turn the cue and you might see a worn AC that is barely visible

i dont know anything about barrys cues but that one is not a gus.

It’s not either one. I know a few things about Gus’s

0% it’s a szam

10% it’s a Cantando (something super early if it is)

Not a Gus pin, not Gus style, and not a Gus dimension between butt sleeve and butt plate.
