I have heard rumors Gus made a 70" cue once....I have been told on good authority that its not a rumor...

Where is the cue now?

Has anybody seen pics of it?

Is this the unicorn of cues?

Not quite that long

The longest cue that Dad ever made (according to his order books),

was 64" 26.5oz with (2) 14.5mm shafts. The quy wanted 28oz!

It's a 4 window cue that is in the First Edition of The Billiards Encyclopedia.

It's next to a 58" cue of the same design. Very cool picture.

Brad Simpson is the guy to talk to about this cue.

Best to all,
Barry

Barry: I have a 60" cue that you made (see my signature below). It's from around 1990-1991. Did you make very many of that length?

Isn't it great to have someone here who can put some of the myths to rest?
I'll say it again, it's great to have you here Barry!
