Another thread describes a book by Kim Davenport. I have never heard of it. Has anyone read it or know where I can get a copy??

Also I have heard of a book by Buddy Hall ("From Rags to Rifleman"), but have never been able to find it. Bebob publishing (publisher of the book) does not have any. Does anyone know where I can find a copy??

Based on the current bid, Willie won't be springing for that book any time soon. Not wanting to change out a LePro due to short arms and deep pockets won't allow for that chunk of change. I can't blame you Willie if you don't, that even made me cough and sputter.

D'maker,
You are right about the price. I will keep looking - it only took me 2 years to find a good (cheap) copy of both Fats and Mosconi's biographies. BTW you should feel ashamed of making fun of the length of my arms; a guy can't help a physical disability like that (hey, I wonder if the government has a program to help out with this kind of disability).

And here I thought I was being a nice guy for not making fun of that one short leg. Vote Kerry and the government MIGHT come up with a program for everything.

I read a friend's copy of Buddy's book, Will and it has some very good parts in it. Some great stories too. The problem is the print size is so damn small that you have to use a magnifying glass to read it. If you are looking for the month that he and Dan Louie hooked horns, in Baton Rouge and Jackson, forget it. It AIN'T in there. Made me hot.

Made me hot too $Bill, I was really looking forward to it. This was about the time the author was claiming Buddy was King of the Bar Boxes. At that time, I would have backed Danny against anyone using a big cue ball, he just didn't miss,
