Sweet Lookin Cue....Never played with the Phenolic Tip/Ferrel. Actually...haven't seen it before... Curious..what exactly IS Phenolic? It looks a lot like wood...lol... Does a tip like this really give cue ball control?

Once again....Sweet Cue and I love the color of the Lyptus shaft.

Does that phenolic hold chalk well?

On my phenolic tip/ferrule Jensen JB, I have small grooves cut into the "tip" part. Helps hold chalk.

Beautiful cue btw!

I put on a lot of 1 pc phenolic tips and they hold chalk so so. I think they break great. Just make sure you have the tip chalked well right before each use of it.

if you scuff it up well, they hold chalk decent, imo.
my break is the absolute worst part of my game, but last nite, i let a couple guys use it. both took my number and want cues :D
i usually can jump about 4 to 5 inches from impeding ball. last nite i was less than 3 inches away, jumped with ease . i think hal will be happy.

I received the cue today. It's really nice. You did an outstanding job BHQ.

Watch for a more detailed review in the coming weeks/months.

Hal
